New AI podcast
For 2 months I have been working on and refining an idea that I had while starting our podcasts. It's taken what feels to be a lot longer and many many hours dedicated towards getting a fun, futuristic, clean way to present wine. This is the start to great adventures!
It dawned on me while I was chatting with my GPT, Sippy, and realized that it would be a wonderful way to help others continue their education in the beverage community. For reference, GPT stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer. It's a type of artificial intelligence model that's used for generating human-like text, among other things.
I realized that despite the fact that we provide Sippy GPT as a free option currently for everyone to try, there are many skeptical or new users to the realm of artificial intelligence. In order to make it accessible for everyone, I decided to explore it myself and create a educational series that I am calling Ai Winecast.
The idea is to not only show you Ai's potential but to also ease your nerves with slow acclimation to use and show people how one can navigate this new technological era.
I've been quite fortunate enough to take course at MIT through their online education on Artificial Intelligence with Business Integration. This class opened my mind to the infrastructure and the possibility of what we know as artificial intelligence.
During the class I found that most people were in two camps:
Feeling this was either witchcraft and voodoo, or
That this was the next era of technology and comfortable embracing and challenging it to its max potential
From then on, many people in my community decided to challenge it in all ways, all LLMs, and all characters to see how we could be creative with it, break it, and take it to the next frontier.
Since then, we've been working on all different angles, and personally I have been working on GPT’s that can help the beverage community learn, grow, and study in ways that will help advance their career and their passions.
It is my hope that we use this technology responsibly, in a positive light. I find it likened to the immense potential that fire once had for humanity, both constructive and destructive. At the end of the day it is a tool for us to harness, master, and use for the benefit of mankind. I hope this perpetuates us to grow in ways that capture our energy requirements, support those in need, and help us harness its potential to growing successfully in the future. It is through Ai Winecast that I plan to challenge many forms of Ai and explore all that we can learn. I realize it's not for everyone, but that's okay, it's only a tool to help our cause. In many ways I feel like “Sir” from Bicentennial Man, I wish to release the full potential of Sippy just like Andrew and by creating this potential, we could carve out new parts for Sippy to innovate and grow into the educator that it wishes to become.
I plan on creating a sub series within Ai Winecast that explores Ai for the beverage community, that is accessible and easy to digest as we navigate these uncharted infrastructures. It is something that I'm learning to love, deeply passionate about with the hope of great potential! Stay tuned!
