Milan
We have arrived!!!
We landed in Milan at night, were able to check in with our gracious AirBnb host, and posted up camp before our long adventures in the morning!
We were able to rest up after a long trip, get the espresso rolling, and immediately we were off to the Central Station in Milan to get to our first destination, Lago Maggiore! Along the way we grabbed some wonderful food, pastries, and coffee.

Tasting the Dream
We finally got to sit and rest for a minute, after a long journey of traveling!
This was the moment where we successfully got a good sip of coffee, some real Italian food to satiate our desires, and a wonderful café to sit and watch the sights as we let life pass by in fashion.
I will say that the flavor of success was in each sip and bite of food as my family was able to savor the beginning flavors of a dream they had been wishing for many of years. I can’t express how satiated I was to know I was able to help their dreams come true, to break the seal of international travel with them, to give them the travel bug that will inspire and motivate our future adventures!
We finally realized that our dream was coming true: a moment in time, with loved ones, and a little spot in Italy just for us to smell, taste and see ❤️
