LA Fire Donations

Donations Pt 2

It couldn't be a greater honor to know that our community continued to raise more donations over the past few months and were able to keep collecting for the LA communities affected by the fires in the beginning of this year.

Our first round of collections was quite the success for our community and it was amazing to see us collect another 20 cases, in total of 42 cases and $450 worth of donations!

This round of donations I wanted to personally see the point of contact, ensuring that our donations would arrive at the appropriate place, that they would indeed be used for the community in the right way and that they were directly impacting the affected communities.

Along the way, I had the tremendous support of Sydney Galindo of the organization of A.R.T.S. (Artist Resistance Through Solidarity).

Sydney found out early on in our adventure that we were collecting donations and have been tremendous help and supporting the artist Community affected by the fires as well. She has volunteered her services to join me on my road trip out together and get all our donations out to LA. Please visit her Instagram and website as she continues her path to supporting many communities both in Las Vegas and Los Angeles!

Throughout these months I was in contact with one of the YMCA locations on the front lines, of the Palisade fires. They have been incredibly active with food, clothing, and other non-perishable donations as a collection and rallying point for their community.

It was upon arrival that I was able to connect with, , who was the lead organizer for the YMCA. She had done an incredible amount of work and was able to meet me for collecting the remainder of our donations.

I wish I had come out here earlier, to see it first hand while in the midst of the challenge, but we had to support from our own community and gather all we could. This event had incredible and unexpected outcomes, and Sip Studies will continue to support charities every year in this fashion. Whenever and wherever we can, this is a part of us now.

Due to the timing of our trip, I've decided to only post the remainder of our content on this website so as to show those who contributed to our donation in a personal way, person by person, to show you and thank you personally for your generosity! It's people like you who helped change the world and we're so honored to have you in our community!

Thanks To Our Community!
